LA FONTELINA

One of the most prestigious beach clubs in Capri, La Fontelina offers a magical experience where one can sunbathe with Faraglioni views and swim in a private portion of the Mediterranean where the turquoise of the water is mixed by the greyish brown of vulcanic rocks. At lunch time, cool down at the restaurant where local land and sea dishes are served with simplicity but with the freshest ingredients available.

Not to be missed: the famous Sangria while sunbathing

Bathing establishment: everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Restaurant: everyday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

By foot: from the Capri Tiberio Palace head to Via Tragara. At the Tragara viewing point, go down on the narrow path, taking the steps down to the Faraglioni Rocks. Be prepared to go down over 300 meters of steps.

By sea: get a taxi from Piazza Strina near the Piazzetta and be dropped off at Marina Piccola. The Fontelina shuttle leaves from Marina Piccola every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 10 minutes at a cost of €5 per person, each way.
